Financial Policy

In general, our fees cover the cost of treatment and any follow-up, regardless of the actual number of visits. Retreatment or surgical treatment may cost additional. We are in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Carolina, CIGNA PPO, Delta Dental PPO, Ameritas PPO and Aetna PPO. We accept payment by cash, check, debit card, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Synchrony Bank (CareCredit). For those patients with dental insurance, we will accept insurance benefits as payment with the patient's authorization. Prior to the initial visit, we will obtain a pre-treatment estimate from the patient's insurance provider. For those patients without insurance, we ask that the patient pay 50% of the treatment fee at the first visit. We will gladly process the patient's insurance claim and submit it. Our office will accept the patient's insurance payment directly. If the patient's insurance benefit is more than expected, our office will reimburse the patient the difference. Please realize that if the amount the patient's insurance provider reimburses is less than the estimated amount, the patient will be responsible for the difference.
